Change your DNS servers
Windows XP, Server 2003 or Windows Home Server
- Open Control Panel
- Open Network Connections
- Right-click on the network adapter you use, select Properties
- In the list you'll find "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" select to highlight it, but don't uncheck it
- Click the Properties button
- Click the option button "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
- Click OK, click Close, your computer may think for a second
Windows Vista
- Open Control Panel
- Open Network and Sharing Center (if you don't see it, click "Classic View" on the left-hand side)
- On the left-hand side, under Tasks, pick "Manage Network Connections"
- Right-click on the network adapter you use, select Properties
- In the list you'll find "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" select to highlight it, but don't uncheck it
- Click the Properties button
- Click the option button "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
- Click OK, click Close, your computer may think for a second
Windows 7
- Open Control Panel
- Open Network and Sharing Center (if you don't see it, change "View by:" to Small icons)
- On the left-hand side, pick "Change adapter settings"
- Right-click on the network adapter you use, select Properties
- In the list you'll find "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" select to highlight it, but don't uncheck it
- Click the Properties button
- Click the option button "Obtain DNS server address automatically"
- Click OK, click Close, your computer may think for a second
